Angela Ortiz

My name is Angela Ortiz. I’m a second year here at Cal. I’m an intended double major in psychology and social welfare. I have been with CLAA since my first semester at Cal and have enjoyed being apart of its success. I am excited to see what’s in store and how we can support our comunidad.

Michael Saucedo

As a business and social work undergraduate at UC Berkeley, I’m excited to build on my previous military and private sector experience to create stronger private-public partnerships and promote the social mobility of under-served communities.

Gladys Emeli Flores

Hello! My name is Gladys Flores. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I am a second year undergraduate student hoping to major in Psychology with a minor in Disability Studies. This Fall, I have been granted the honor of being a fellow for the Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association, where I hope to assist in expanding the reach of CLAA in order to continue helping students make the most of their potential with the support means necessary to succeed. What I love most about CLAA is it provides a sense of community through platforms like Conexiones that remind students that there is a community at Berkeley that supports them.

I was bestowed with the opportunity of being able to learn with magnificent peers and knowledgeable teachers everyday. I am devoted to learning new things not only within the classroom but also outside in the Berkeley community.
When I heard about CLAA I decided to join because I admire their mission. I am committed towards doing my best in order to assist CLAA and better serve my community.
